ur voice is a journey (2023) by Maria Barnas is a permanent text-installation for the famous staircases designed by Aldo Rossi for the Bonnefantenmuseum, Maastricht. Covering four staircases of fourteen steps, the work consists of four sonnets that can be read by climbing the stairs. Being contained in a tight form, the voice in the poem tries to break free from structures.
